Holding on and giving up

While some of you know I really, really wanted to enter Deviant Dead, I'm realizing I really, really can't. My skills aren't where I want them to be for a competition and I don't think I could do the competition justice while balancing school and my personal projects. I have other things that I need and want to get done, and they come first.

Ugh. It sucks, but I feel a little relieved.

On the bright side, the project I've been picking away at for MONTHS is steadily approaching completion (though it should've been done weeks ago). It's hard to set aside time to do it and keep myself motivated, but it's paying off.

I'm going to try harder to keep up with at least a weekly post and a monthly digital work. If I slip, forgive me (and don't). School's tough (but other artists work through it just fine).

Good news- I'm doing something I've wanted to since I started college. I'm taking a Life Drawing class! I'm so excited! Yes, there will be some naked peeps and it will be awkward, but it will only help in the end. Also, also, I'm in the middle of a really cool class called Fund. of Interactive Media. We just finished up a segment on PS on Macs (God help me, I think I'm converting), and now we're learning how to code websites (made INCREDIBLY easy by Dreamweaver).

I can't wait 'til winter break (even though I'll be working)...

Brawl is good. It's the only game I can beat my sister at besides Guitar Hero so I obviously like it xD
